How to Find a Sprinkler Leak in Your Yard
A sprinkler leak may appear as a soggy patch, unusually green strip, eroded soil, low pressure, bubbling water, or a higher-than-normal bill. Run one zone at a time and watch every head, valve box, and drip connection.
Broken heads are easy to spot, but underground fittings and valves may leak only while a zone is operating. Avoid digging until the likely source is narrowed down. A professional pressure and zone check can reduce unnecessary excavation.
